This is all about people thinking, sharing, creating, participating in a more real and relevant way, socially too. The depth of sharing brings freedom. But the learning is individual as we choose how, where and what to communicate and how, who, where and what to communicate.
What I have noticed with digital text is that students are happy to 'jump' in and begin as they know they can easily change/manipulate/delete. When they are required to write with pen and paper it can take some of them much longer to settle in or even beginning. I thought more about this concept and I think this is true for me as well. The way I tackle a written text (pen and paper) is very different to how I tackle the same task digitally.
