I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand. Confucius, philosopher.
This blog (that I stumbled across) raves about delicious, even though I thought it was not as big as diigo and that my monthly magazine subscription would be more worthwhile! Now, granted that my regular cooking from the delicious magazine (current one just released) has made for a delighted and very well nourished husband, I am sure that this will not be the same case with the online account I have created.
Problems that I face are that my tabs are set up to diigo and now I want to use both. Do I have to delete one to use the other? Can I be greedy and have both on the page! The use of this as a research tool is terrific - if you think about how we used to display student work (on a wall or window) then this can mean a whole new way of online publishing and progressing in this new world we find ourselves in! This could monitor what ideas both current and past are morphing into! Since most of our learning is occurring virtually, at all hours of the night and day and the role of delicious as a media centre seems to be one very effective tool that our students must utilise and understand! Hmmmm.....thinking, thinking, thinking!
